Description
Properly trained staff and well-maintained, accessible Automated External Defibrillator equipment can be instrumental in saving the lives of students and staff on campus. This course provides an introductory overview of AED equipment and uses. It does not replace the in-person training required by law for certification.
In this course, you will learn:
- What an AED is
- When an AED should be used
- The steps required to use an AED
- The chain of survival for cardiac events
- The state requirements associated with the use of AEDs
