When considering the safety of students and staff, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. An emergency plan is necessary for all educators who want to ensure the well-being of their students. While we can’t always prevent an emergency, an emergency plan can help you respond to them as they happen.

Creating an Emergency Plan will help both new and existing educators with planning for and managing emergencies effectively.

In this 1-hour course presented by Responsive Learning, you will learn:

  • The 5 phases of emergency management
  • The steps for creating an Emergency Operations Plan
  • The content that goes into an Emergency Plan
  • The guidelines provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency
