Even in small spaces, ideas such as rolling craft carts and magnetic bulletin boards can be used to facilitate different types and levels of learning activities. In addition, Ms. Van Gemert addresses how to make the differentiated classroom a safe place for students to choose activities at different learning levels.

  4. Roxanne – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner)

Good ideas for differentiation. The course just needs to be adjusted to meet Covid-safety protocols. For example, having bins of activities for kids to work on doesn’t prevent the spread of germs.

  16. Judi – DRISCOLL ISD (verified owner)

I really enjoyed this course. I liked that differentiation is not ALWAYS about content. Sometimes I feel in math that they all need the same content so differentiating it is more difficult. But if I can differentiate environment and with centers, posters, etc. this makes it seem more doable.
