Is your plate so full that you don’t have the time or energy to learn anything new? What if, instead of asking you to add one more thing to your plate, someone offered you an entirely new plate? In this lesson, Kim Tredick does just that. The “plate” she’s offering is the Depth and Complexity framework, an approach that helps students engage in self-questioning and evaluative thinking.

87 reviews for Making Depth and Complexity Work for Me

  1. Melissa – Private Pay (verified owner)

This course is a nice introduction to the icons and provides a solid foundation for the purpose behind using them.

  2. Christine – COLUMBUS CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT (verified owner)

Part 1 was great. Part 2 was somewhat repetitive.
Too much self congratulation for me.

  3. Laura – GREGORY-PORTLAND ISD (verified owner)

I love the ideas of depth and complexity. The icons are great visual ways to help both me and my students challenge our thinking.

  4. Yesenia – LAREDO ISD (verified owner)

I loved learning how to use the icons in the different subject areas. I also liked learning about the other five icons.

  5. Luanne – PROSPER ISD (verified owner)

It was extremely informative and helped clear up the purpose of the icons and how to use them within a structured day.

  6. Katrina – WESTERVILLE CITY (verified owner)

This is not what I was expecting. I feel like I needed a beginners course before this one about the icons and would need to continue much more training on them before I would feel ready and able to implement their use in my classroom.

  7. Crystil – GRAND PRAIRIE ISD (verified owner)

    5 stars!

  8. Dora – UNITED ISD (verified owner)
