  16. Angie – St Marys City Schools (verified owner)

This is a very informative course, and Katie is a great presenter. This course seems like a good refresher for me. This was filmed almost ten years ago, and I have heard and implemented most of the strategies and resources earlier in my career. An updated version of this would be beneficial.

  20. Michelle – PROSPER ISD (verified owner)

This course should not be recommended for all elementary teachers. The course is for upper elementary and beyond. The course took over 3 hours. I started at 6:28pm and just finished the last quiz at 9:53pm without stopping for any breaks. There were 12 reflective questions to complete and 3 quizzes as well as a course survey. Please value our time as teachers. The content was good if you teach upper elementary and beyond.

  21. Janet – MIAMI EAST LOCAL (verified owner)

It was more related to other content areas than ELA itself, but there were good strategies and techniques. I highly recommend this for content-area teachers.

  22. Lee – ECTOR COUNTY ISD (verified owner)

I’ve done a few of these courses over the last few years for my GT updates, this is hands down the bet one. She’s interesting, has a few goofy jokes, but most importantly this module contains practical strategies to integrate content literacy into multiple academic disciplines.

  23. Roxana – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

Excellent tips to implement in the classroom.

  24. Alyssa – SHARYLAND ISD (verified owner)

    Great

  26. Martha – RIESEL ISD (verified owner)

strategies Great for high school teachers.

  27. Monica – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

  28. Elsa – SHARYLAND ISD (verified owner)

The session is filled with a lot of great tools for you to use in your classroom.

  30. Stacy – DRIPPING SPRINGS ISD (verified owner)

  31. Nahuel – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

    It was great.

  32. ROBIN – BOERNE ISD (verified owner)

  33. Melissa – SHARYLAND ISD (verified owner)

    Great information

  34. Alma – SHARYLAND ISD (verified owner)

    The course provides good information.

  35. Kathleen – SANDUSKY CITY (verified owner)

Good strategies presented in this course

  36. Ashley – CONROE ISD (verified owner)

I enjoyed the course. It can be used for lower elementary with some adaptations.

  37. Esperanza – CLEAR CREEK ISD (verified owner)

Presenter provided multiple strategies and examples to use across all subjects through literacy. Many examples and structures of lessons were intermediate/high school level, which I needed to hear how that would look for elementary students.

  38. Joseph – LOS FRESNOS CISD (verified owner)

All of the links and QR codes were broken and the videos that were necessary for the responses were of very poor quality. Also, the quiz questions for this unit relied on placing words of a sentence into a very specific order, sometimes 40 minutes or more after having heard/seen them. This made the quiz taking process very annoying and frustrating.

  39. Narda – PROSPER ISD (verified owner)

    Overall the course was great!
