Description

Data is the backbone of special education programs, so we have to make sure that we’re collecting data in the right way. Taking data for SPED students is more complicated than simply checking off boxes. Sometimes even the way we collect data can skew what’s really happening.

When data collection isn’t done correctly, it doesn’t give us an accurate picture of where a student is academically and what they need. We know that you want your SPED students to thrive, so that’s why “Data Collection for SPED – How to Take Data” was created.

In this 45-minute course presented by Noodle Nook, veteran SPED educator Ayo Jones shares how to make sure that you’re collecting data in the right way. This course is perfect for anyone on a SPED team.

  • Start with the goal in mind
  • Set up data situations correctly
