    For me, the first section on the rubric was terrible. I had to take a break after. I never felt Domain and Dimension were well-explained, and the circling and underlining was maddening and turned it all into word salad. I get what you were after, but I’d have been much better off just reading one of the pages and comparing the columns on my own.
    Also, the printouts were hard to read. Have less white space around the borders and bigger text in the middle where it counts.
    Watching the video of the classroom was the most useful. It let me look in analytically, seeing both what was good vs. bad but also what was different from myself. Comparing both of those to the rubric gave me a much better understanding of how to apply it. Frankly, I would have liked to have had more opportunity to comment on the scoring.
    The SLO, though, was very poorly explained. My mentor has already walked me through it, complete with file templates and examples. If I had not had that, I would not have had any idea how to implement SLO. You spent so much so much effort on saying what it wasn’t (not a test, not a second gradebook, etc.), but you did not give much of any information on how to actually implement it in a way that would support the objectives of what it *is*.
    I will say it was nice seeing responses of some of the other teachers going along with me, as I could both see where I had completely missed the point of the question as well as when I felt I had done a proper analysis. It was a bit daunting at first, but it’s always hard at first to speak up in class.

    I think overall this course was well put together. I wish when I had to watch the video as an evaluator I had the information in front of me that was needed, so I could kind of guide my grading/thinking as we were working on it.
