Academic acceleration is one of the most impactful strategies for meeting the needs of gifted learners. For educators considering acceleration, the process can seem difficult, and many don’t know where to begin.

In this course, education expert Angela Osborne leads participants through the process from start to finish. Ms. Osborne explores the myths many believe about acceleration and reviews a data-driven process for making placement decisions. The course also includes an overview of Ohio’s acceleration policy.

This 5-hour course is the perfect tool for educators to refer to throughout their careers whenever you encounter a student who may need to be accelerated. You’ll learn about:
