Through her expertise and experience Joyce Juntune, Ph.D., brings a practical approach to meeting the needs of gifted students in the classroom. In fact, you will be able to use these strategies with students at any level! You will learn how to help your students organize their ideas and their learning so they can become more independent learners. 

In this 3-hour course you will discover:

  • Module 1: The brain and learning, and evaluation strategies for reasoning
  • Module 2: How to teach decision-making skills
  • Module 3: Steps and activities for planning and organizing ideas

This course is aligned with 2016 ODE Teacher Competencies a, b, c, f, g and NAGC Teacher Preparation Standards 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 5.2.
