Description
In recent years, an intense focus on standardized testing has resulted in less emphasis on teaching students how to think critically and creatively during the learning process. It’s time to change that and better prepare students to meet today’s challenges and opportunities. In the course “Strategies for Fostering Creativity,” Bob Iseminger provides teachers with a series of activities to help stimulate greater creativity in the classroom.
These strategies include:
- Pass the Word
- Paired Association
- Key Word Map
- Vocab Master
- Math Roulette
- Two-Headed Experts

Very informative.

I am extremely excited about using the Key Word Map, Vocab Master, and Paired Association strategies with my classes. I believe these will come in handy for building a strong recall, vocabulary, and helping make those connections they need in the Social Studies content.
