  1. John – WORTHINGTON CITY (verified owner)

I think that it provides a good introduction to the “six hats” and provides opportunities to understand them better through practical examples. Having said that, the second half of the lesson is focused on classroom examples, and all of them are from elementary classrooms. The lesson is suggested for secondary school teachers, but we tend to be a little overskeptical of suggested strategies when presentations do not offer examples of secondary classroom applications.

I had never heard of the Six Thinking Hats before, but I am excited to start using them in my classroom! This approach is such a creative and structured way to guide students through problem-solving and decision-making by encouraging them to think from different perspectives. I can already see how this will help foster critical thinking and collaboration among my students. I can’t wait to implement it and see the positive impact it will have on our classroom discussions and activities!
