  12. Zulma – MCALLEN ISD (verified owner)

I was confused with the first 18 slides. Slide 21 said, “Let’s get started.” I felt like it didn’t get to point and perhaps I thought I’d get lots of ideas on developing a powerfully effective classroom. It was pretty foundational and basic. I say this respectfully and honestly.

  38. Nicole – BELLBROOK-SUGARCREEK LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT (verified owner)

The strategies within this course are very helpful. I think these are some things that first year teachers would greatly benefit from. I also know as a veteran teacher, I was able to reflect on things I have done and how to improve for my students.

  39. Martha – ALVARADO ISD (verified owner)

Great course for new teachers. Presenter shares her 10 favorite procedures that make a classroom more efficient when teaching. I took away a few favorites that I can instill with my GT students. She also shares three books which she highly recommended for efficient teaching. Having a classroom culture was probably my favorite of her 10. I strongly feel this is important at the beginning of the year and sets the tone for the rest of the year.
