  10. Britny – KILLEEN ISD (verified owner)

It gave me great resources and opened my eyes up to tru differentiation. It is a word we use often but I believe it has become a buzz word and until now I do not think I was doing it correctly.

  11. Julie – NEDERLAND ISD (verified owner)

It helped to understand the difference between tiering and compacting, as well as helpful resources to use in class.

  13. Cathey – LUBBOCK ISD (verified owner)

This course offered so many great strategies and resources on how to differentiate the environment, content, process, and product. Many of these strategies and resources can be implemented immediately. One of my favorite parts of this course was Lisa’s explanation of how to plan for differentiation: start with the high ability first, then copy and paste, making changes and adjustments where needed.

  14. erkan – HARMONY SCIENCE ACAD (EL PASO) (verified owner)

    Great

  15. Megan – ECTOR COUNTY ISD (verified owner)

Informational with resources and how to use them effectively in classroom

  16. Timothy – ECTOR COUNTY ISD (verified owner)

Much more interesting than the first course. Very practical and simplified. Again just like the previous course Lisa has scratched the surface again in a lot of resources and ideas that I need to look up and read about. Every educator need to learn this. Differentiation as I perceive it right now will even help in bot classroom and behavioral management as well as time management. Well put to say that it is the norm

There is a lot of information in these videos. I feel doing it online is not as effective because it feels drawn out. Some of the resources she gives are outdated.

  44. Cressa – GRAND PRAIRIE ISD (verified owner)

I think that people might think that they could just skip to the questions in this course, but there are very valid points made about differentiation and good classroom application that one would miss.

  45. Ashley – CARROLL ISD (verified owner)

I enjoyed this course. I am taking this online. I wish I had the handouts in front of me to reference for the questions because we are covering a lot of info.

  46. Leanne – GALVESTON ISD (verified owner)

The first thing she asked the class was about the barriers to differentiation. The number one response, and mine as well, was TIME.

And then she never addressed that concern.

She gave a pre-test and then didn’t differentiate for the needs of her students.

I’ve been teaching for 22 years, and what I needed from her was innovation how to do more with less time and no money.

She only restated basic concepts all mid-career teachers know BUT CAN’T FIND THE TIME to consistently implement.

    Would not recommend.

  47. ALICE – SAN FELIPE-DEL RIO CISD (verified owner)

It was extremely helpful!! Tons of resources!

  48. Jackie – HILLSBORO ISD (verified owner)

I like that while theory is important and is presented in this course, the resources help to infuse the theories into the classroom.

  49. Tania – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

    Insightful

  50. Samanta – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

Great ideas of lesson, environment, and resources through out the sessions. Great presentor.
