The presenters make interesting points. The TED talk videos help extend the concepts. Educators already understand most of the student needs identified. What is missing are recorded lessons involving students. In particular, how do educators reconcile student autonomy with state testing. Will “bubble” students retain tested content if student autonomy leads lessons off task? Some of the best learning make take place under these conditions, but if it is not tested then neither students nor schools will receive the credit.
