When trauma is experienced during childhood, it can significantly interfere with the development of core cognitive abilities. Unfortunately, this may lead to a wide range of undesirable or disruptive behaviors at school. This compliance course offers educators a thorough understanding of best practices to use in the classroom regarding trauma.

A child is more likely to experience long-term effects into adulthood if they do not receive successful interventions for trauma early on. As an educator you can be mindful of the signs and triggers of childhood trauma. When you are proactive with your student’s needs, you have a greater chance of preventing negative outcomes in the future.
