What should educators do for gifted students who already know most of the lesson material or can learn it faster than others? The answer lies in differentiating lessons so that they are engaging for all students.

In this course, gifted instructor Karen Rumley teaches educators how to recognize common myths about differentiation and explores major elements of differentiated learning approaches. You will also learn how to apply principles of depth and complexity to differentiation and adapt instruction to fit specific learning environments.

In this 6-hour course, educators will discover:

    There was a lot of in-depth content covered in this course. The depth of the questioning for the quizzes was a bit extreme, however, and led me to second guess, and even triple-guess, my thoughts to the point of confusion. Perhaps more extended response questions would have been more valuable.
