In “Introverts: The Quiet Gifted,” Teresa Biggs, M.Ed., explores the characteristics and value of the often overlooked gifted group, introverts. Like every one of their extroverted counterparts, introverted gifted students have much to offer. Discover how to recognize and work with this special population that represents about one half of all gifted students.

In this 1-hour course, you will learn to:

  • Understand common characteristics of the introverted gifted student
  • Examine the place of the introverted student in an extroverted world
  • Determine how to meet the needs of the gifted introvert in the classroom

    As an introvert, I feel a sense of understanding of myself and those students who gravitate towards me and how much it impacts them to have a teacher who represents a version of themselves they are not aware they can achieve and how much it helps validate their feelings that may go unnoticed or undervalued due to social stigmas. This course is essential to the connection for GT students who require an understanding of their preferred learning creative environment.
