Busy-bags are all the rage with mothers of young children–they’re just a collection of activities that are easy to grab, low-prep, and able to amuse little hands and minds for a few minutes. Lisa Van Gemert’s five-minute opportunity strategies are a “bag of tricks” for educators to pull from, but rather than keep the student occupied, the strategies are meant to help you build a relationship and connection with them in those rare unfilled minutes.

I really like the multiple ideas to use in just a few minutes with kids. Many of these ideas are activities to have in your classroom, but it would be nice to see pictures of your classroom to picture just how some of these ideas are used, practically.
