While storing this information online makes education and communication convenient and relevant for students and staff, it makes their data vulnerable to cyberattacks.

In this 1-hour DIR-certified* course you’ll learn about:

  • What types of threats school data systems face
  • Indicators of network or computer vulnerability
  • Preventative measures against cyberattacks
  • What to do if there is a cyberattack
  • What state and federal law requires of schools and school districts to prevent cyberattacks
