What makes a gifted person happy? Dr. Sayler presents a lifespan model of happiness and thriving for gifted individuals. The session explores the personal and external influences related to talent development and thriving at home, in school, career success, personal well-being, life-satisfaction, and personal happiness.
In this course, participants will:
- Gain an understanding of another definition of G/T “gifted and thriving”
- Learn the key elements that allow gifted youth to thrive as they mature
- Understand the internal and external catalysts for growth
- Become more aware of the influential roles that parents and mentors have in the development of a gifted youth’s ability to be happy and thriving

However, with a state emphasis on passing standard exams there is little time to implement character and spirituality or indeed natural talent that sparks the love of learning. Time is a finite resource.
