To group or not to group? That is a question faced each day by educators as administrators continue to encourage small group learning in the classroom. Lisa Van Gemert, M.Ed.T., discusses whether small groups are always necessary and, when they are used, how to effectively group students and how to support the group process.

    I enjoyed hearing about the different ways to decide on how to divide up the students for small group instruction. She talks about examples within the packet for the audience to look at but does not show the packet pages on the screen so you really have to visualize what she is trying to explain, instead of seeing the example.
