Perfectionism is common among gifted students, who often set very high standards for themselves and tie their self-worth to their performance. While this can lead to strong achievement, it can also cause anxiety, fear of failure, and avoidance of challenging tasks. Gifted students may struggle more with unhealthy perfectionism if they are used to things coming easily and feel pressure to always succeed. Supporting them with a growth mindset, normalizing mistakes, and emphasizing effort over perfection can help them develop healthier habits. So this course is showing us a an educator how to behave to the students who are perfectionist already and how to show them the correct way to the success.
