    pretty good

  2. Maria – MERCEDES ISD (verified owner)

I really liked this course and the information it provided. The only thing that I would change is that since it is an online course, we don’t get all the documents/ files that provide all the extra information and strategies that were discussed.

  3. Paige – TEXARKANA ISD (verified owner)

This speaker had very strong opinions on mental health issues and medications.

  4. Mitzy – PEARSALL ISD (verified owner)

  5. Richard – SPRING ISD (verified owner)

Excellent discussion on the multitude of anxiety, depression, and mental disorders. It is a necessity for teachers to learn this information so we can assist the students. Get help and counseling from the appropriate departments that could actually help their situation.

  6. Eunice – CORPUS CHRISTI ISD (verified owner)

This presentation was biased and discouraging. I can’t believe I was forced to listen to such negative comments around ways to treat mental illness. I felt like we went back 30 years to when the stigma of mental illness was shameful to discuss or want to treat. I would not recommend this course to anyone. I appreciated strategies and techniques to help children but not without having to listen to the author pitch and make her claim that pharma companies are all about making money and physicians are over diagnosing. It is a shame I had to listen to someone who doesn’t understand that some people truly need more than psychotherapy.
