Join Kim Frasher, Math Gifted Specialist at Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools, and explore a variety of techniques to engage students in mathematical tasks that are appropriate for their independent level of readiness. In this 2-hour course, participants will explore a variety of factors that facilitate differentiation, including the classroom environment, classroom procedures, grouping, and varied work.

Managing a differentiated classroom is a complex task, but it doesn’t have to be difficult! Join Kim Frasher, Math Gifted Specialist at Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools, and explore a variety of techniques to engage students in mathematical tasks that are appropriate for their independent level of readiness.

In this 2-hour course you will discover: 

  • Techniques to help you manage the complexities of a differentiated classroom
  • How to create differentiated math experiences for students
  • The importance of students’ physical environment, classroom procedures, and classroom routines
