  5. Melanie – ALVARADO ISD (verified owner)

There is way too much information all at one time that does not allow for you to interact or respond to new knowledge along the way. It doesn’t let you participate in responses until the end of the course.

This course presents many different types of choice boards/center/stations as well as defining different learning styles. This gives an educator many ideas to implement in the classroom.

This is a great course to give teachers some insight and good ideas in the area of implementing choice and how easy it is to offer differentiated learning within the overall concept of student choice.

  34. Kathleen – SANDUSKY CITY (verified owner)

Good ideas, but they require time to create these choice options. As an English teacher, there is not much time in 40 per day to complete, parent calls, lesson plans, grading, bathroom break, etc. I have always said that we should use a professional development day to do these activities and we have yet to get one of these days. We are always expected to create curriculum on our own time.

  46. Judith – HILLSBORO CITY (verified owner)

I think this is a reminder of activities that we could do to keep all students engaged in learning. By giving them choices they feel like they have more ownership of the grade they receive/

  47. Magdalena – WESLACO ISD (verified owner)

This is something lower grade already do. I’ve taught Kinder an d1st grade and centers/stations was a must. I took this with me now that I teach 3rd grade math. I goal is to give students more time versus twice a week. I love the idea of them creating centers and explaining the “games” to others. Students learn through the teacher and the teacher learns through the students, but students also learn best from their friends.

  48. Kelly – BOERNE ISD (verified owner)

I learned a lot from this course, but feel a bit overwhelmed by all of the information in a one-hour course.

  49. Shanna – ECTOR COUNTY ISD (verified owner)

I enjoyed this class I have learned so many new ideas about workstations and how to better use models for students learning needs.

  50. Erika – ECTOR COUNTY ISD (verified owner)

    Great ideas for differentiation.
